history:
"For I am about to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun!" (God as spoken in Isaiah 43.19)
God is in the business of doing new things! back around 2004 God brought students to valley view chapel (vvc) who had a passion for skateboarding. some tried to set up a skate park in the community, but the community leaders discouraged them. God continued to bring skaters to vvc youth groups. in early 2007, vvc received the necessary approvals to use a rear parking lot for portable ramps. in the fall of 2007 an eagle scout applicant designed and built several ramps and fun boxes and revelation skaterpark was born! God continues to send skaters, leaders and visions of how this park will grow.
come join us – be a part of this new thing God is doing at vvc!
